Live in the flow of Expansion and Contraction

Live in the flow of Expansion and Contraction

How is 2018 going for you so far? We are all always living in different places in life at different times. We are all unique with our own life experience. Some days feel glorious and others are challenging.  One thing I know for sure in my short 40 years of life is that one constant in life is change. My other favorite constant in life is the flow of Love.

So here is what I have been sitting with so far this year.  Life is like a flower. Our life experiences expand and contract as we grow and evolve throughout our life time.  If you are reading this, chances are you are on a path of personal growth. Everyone on that path will have times of both contraction and expansion in life. I invite you to welcome both experiences and trust in the flow of life.

Welcome the Contraction

Some of you may know that I was living in a space of contraction for the last two years. TWO years, thats a long time.  It began with the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of my brother in law and then grew again with our experience from Hurricane Matthew.  There were some other events in between throughout the year since March 2016 where I really questioned purpose, the flow of life, humanity and more.  The last contraction I had was about 8 years ago when I lived in survival mode trying to find answers on how to keep my family healthy. So I was really caught off guard as this was happening again.  This is what I know to be true, every time there is a contraction, it is because something expansive is about to happen.  A gift.  Whether it’s a divorce, illness, loss of a loved one, loss of your home, or quality of life, it is an opportunity to create new space for something new, and I believe something better.   I invite you to welcome the contraction.   I am here to tell you that contraction is a GOOD thing.  It is a time for us to look within.  To SLOW down. To explore healthy boundaries and maybe even to say no.   Take the time to notice the contraction.  Explore a gratitude journal as awareness comes to the surface.   Notice the feeling. What is the emotion? Where does it show up in your body? How does it make you feel? When did it start? What are you grateful for in this moment?

Welcome the Expansion

So the contraction in my personal life of course had it effect on Healthy Beach Girl and the availability of service I was able to provide over the last 20 months. The good news is I am in the space of welcoming the expansion.  I am so grateful for all of the new opportunities and offerings happening in both our local and online community for 2018.   I needed that contraction time to learn and grow. My priorities were different when I was in survival mode. Once I was ready to step back into the changes and new normal, the flow of life welcomes me with open arms.  Expansion is where we say yes! Yes to the flow of life. Yes to new opportunities. If you are ready to step into an expansive life of abundance in health, happiness, relationships, love and more, join us. Join our community in whatever way works for you. Maybe its as simple as healthy recipes, a jumpstart to health programs, a healthy cleanse program, a 28 day transformation and connection with mind, body, and spirit, or maybe one of our online workshops.  This is where the change begins.  Identifying where you are, what you want and how to get there. Are you ready?  Check out the shop or reserve a spot in our online workshop series here. First one is only $15 and it is “How to create space and cultivate change”!

With Love, Gratitude,and Aloha!
